Rev. Darrell B. Lindsey Sr.
Senior Pastor
Rev. Darrell B. Lindsey Sr. is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He was educated in the Birmingham City Schools. He attended Alabama A&M University for two years after graduating from Phillips High School. In 1996, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for three honorable years. After faithfully serving his country, he came back to Birmingham, Alabama and met his lovely wife LaTanya. They have four beautiful children, Tavashea’, Branden, Brianna, and Darrell Jr.
Rev. Lindsey received his call into Ministry on November 15, 2005, and shortly after receiving his call, he enrolled into the Birmingham Easonian Baptist Bible College where he received a Bachelor Degree in 2010. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree from Birmingham Theological Seminary at Briarwood. God has blessed Rev. Lindsey beyond measure with a great vision to do His work by becoming the founder of the Cornerstone Christian Church. He advocates faithfulness to God, his Family, and the Church. Rev. Lindsey is an anointed voice sent by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this present age.

Sis. Tanya Lindsey is a woman of God that has been endowed with the spirit of wisdom and discernment. She is a woman of class, dignity and determination. Lady Lindsey possesses strong leadership skills which she utilizes in several ministries. Therefore, as a Proverbs 31 woman, she walks with a powerful sense of purpose.
She is honored to be able to serve not only as First Lady of Cornerstone Christian Church but as current Director of Administration as well. The ministry that God has placed in her is dynamic. Lady Lindsey has a heart for and passionate about working with the youth and developing a marriage ministry. Lady Lindsey is an advocate for marriage and family. She handles her obligation to serve in ministry alongside her husband with deep devotion.
Lady Lindsey is a proud mother of four, Tavashea’, Brianna, Branden and Darrell Jr. She is also the only child to Terry and Juanita Lyde.
A Christian woman of virtue, poise and grace, Lady Lindsey is a woman of true character. She is excited to continue to walk out the destiny God has set for her and is committed to sharing God’s love for the rest of her life.

Children’s Church is building God’s children for the future. This ministry believes in working, inspiring, leading, and directing our children towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a church, we have a responsibility to lead children in the ways of the Lord. There is a great need for children to be taught valuable lessons that will help them sustain in life. We are instilling values that will help them grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. We must impart Godly Wisdom even at a young age. As our world continues to change, we are challenging ourselves to maintain biblical standards and preserve traditional values. We provide programs and activities that will teach them about honor, respect, and dignity which will help them with their self-worth of knowing who they are in Christ. We are dedicated to setting our children up for spiritual success and not spiritual duress.
